As a Manual/Conventional Machinist, you will be responsible for completing a diverse range of machining tasks with precision and efficiency. Your key duties will include: Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings. Operating and managing a variety of manual machinery, including: Manual turning and milling. Centre lathes. Vertical and horizontal borers. Conducting general mechanical engineering assembly tasks. Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and conducting thorough quality checks before final inspection and dispatch. The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you should possess: Extensive experience as a manual machinist, with proficiency in multiple machining disciplines. A time-served background or a recognised apprenticeship/qualification in machining or mechanical engineering. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
