Job Purpose
To work within and support the MPBU Machine Shop with aircraft component overhaul and salvage. Roles and Responsibilities
Undertake machining tasks to support the overhaul of aircraft components including Precision Grinding, Honing, Boring, Milling, Turning, CNC Turning, Bush/Bearing Fitting. Assist, as required, with the monitoring of stock levels for bonded metal and consumables. Support the implementation of improvement initiatives within the MPBU Machine Shop. Ensure quality requirements are met. Support and promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and housekeeping. Support with the maintenance of plant and equipment. Experience, Qualifications and Competencies
Numerate and literate - minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
