Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Lowestoft
Salary: up to 18 per hour plus overtime
39 Hours per week
7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.30pm Friday
Our client are a precision machining company with decades of experience in the engineering industry. Whether its highly precise machining or manual milling, they have the skills to do the job.
Due to growth they are now looking for an experienced Manual Machinist.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual lathes, milling machines and grinders
Operating XYZ ProtoTRAK CNC
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances
Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a manual machinist
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and precision
Experience with various materials, primarily metals and plastics
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
