My client, a leading manufacturer within their field, is seeking experienced Manual Miller's and Turners to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.
Responsibilities:
Set and operate all machines. Changeover, set and operate Haas/Citizen machines; sliding head experience preferable. Read engineering drawings. Work to deadlines. Communicate professionally. Work unsupervised and on own initiative. Maintain inline production runs against route cards and relevant drawings to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Ensure good housekeeping and be H&S conscious.
Requirements: Previous experience on manual lathes (Colchester). Proven track record of setting and operating. CNC experience advantageous. Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Time served with minimum GCSE and City and Guilds/ONC qualifications. Keen to learn and flexible with excellent attendance and timekeeping. Assembly awareness with a focus on detail and precision.
