£40,000-£45,000 plus other benefits
My client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis in the Farnborough area. The ideal candidate would provide support to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability of processes on current and new equipment.
The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
HNC Qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent work-based experience Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within product development in a similar environment Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Practical problem solver Ability to work individually or as part of a team
The Manufacturing Engineer role will involve: Verifying manufacturing processes are fit for purpose and achieving quality and performance targets Developing operating instructions and troubleshooting guides for processes/equipment Providing training and guidance to colleagues for existing and new equipment Creating production work and test instructions Monitoring manufacturing processes, identifying and justifying potential improvements Factory floor layouts Participating in process improvement teams to resolve issues Attending training and participating in continuous professional development
