Job Description Energis is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client based near Belfast. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will plan and coordinate all activities concerned with the production process. You will provide production / engineering support, including establishing standards and policies and applying lean principles to improve processes. Responsibilities: Develop existing and new manufacturing systems with the aim to maximise safety, quality, and delivery of products. Review bill of materials and liaise with engineering team to ensure any discrepancies are communicated. Continually review and establish the process flow for production. Ensure material storage and routing is correct and efficient for manufacturing. Conduct the necessary studies and cost analysis to promote the most efficient use of physical and human resources. Increase improvement of first time quality in products and processes. Evaluate and implement cost-saving methods, report opportunities to management for review. Carry out time management studies on production processes. Implement best practice standard work on the shop floor to improve safety and quality and minimise efficiency. Criteria: Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent, with at least 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent IT skills, proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modelling and MS Office. Experience of working in cross-departmental teams. Works well under pressure. Ability to participate in and lead functional work groups and cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles. Excellent time management and communication skills. Salary is in the region of

£30-35k

depending upon experience.
