Job Description All aspects of this role must utilise the TPM methodologies. Identifying through data collection and analysis areas within the process to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Applying experience and knowledge in continuous improvement and engineering to eliminate losses and create a sustainable solution to prevent reoccurrence of losses. Coaching, training, and educating all appropriate employees to enable the solutions to be embedded into the process. Leading and managing projects for the Production Department. Utilising the resources on site for the successful completion of all projects. Communicating with the teams/site on project status. Coaching and upskilling the process knowledge and capabilities of the Shift Leaders and their teams, in line with loss elimination data. Actively promoting and creating a culture of effective cross-functional teamwork to improve plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for leading and organising the production downtime planning process with appropriate teams. Actively monitoring and analysing data and root causes to ensure KPIs are maintained to the agreed levels. The Successful Applicant A successful Mechanical Process Engineer should have: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and team-working skills. Proficiency in using engineering software. A commitment to safety and quality.
