Our client is a well-established manufacturer of engineering equipment used within the Aerospace sector. They have a strong reputation in the industry for supplying high-quality products.

The Role The role is to ensure that the company's manufacturing process runs smoothly and in compliance with company procedures. Define, develop, and oversee the implementation of new manufacturing processes or improvements to existing manufacturing processes, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality while ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput. Organise and manage production workflows, integrating systems to meet performance and budget targets. Oversee tooling management and ensure accurate, up-to-date manufacturing documentation. Resolve production issues by collaborating with engineers, suppliers, and staff to maintain smooth operations. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations through risk assessments and internal audits.

The Candidate Minimum 5 years' experience as a manufacturing engineer. Ideally worked within the Aerospace sector or regulated industries such as Automotive, Marine, Medical, Defence, etc. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using MRP/ERP systems. Familiarity with electromechanical assembly. Skilled in problem-solving, data analysis, and process improvement. Experience with CI / Lean tools is preferred - Six Sigma, 8D, Fishbone, PFMEA, 5why, DMAIC. Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD is advantageous.

The Package Offering up to £52,000 per annum plus competitive benefits.
