Position: Manufacturing / Production Engineer
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 depending on experience
Location: Harlow
Manufacturing Production Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components and solution packages primarily working within security and locking products.
This is an exciting opportunity within a company that projects to triple its size and turnover over the next 3-5 years.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new manufacturing processes and continuous improvement strategies while having a design appreciation of jigs and tooling fixtures.
Job Overview
Deliver new manufacturing requirements for NPI projects Create production shop floor layouts/new factory implementation Analyze and suggest improvements on designs of jigs, fixtures, and new product improvements Generate process flow charts, PFMEAs, BOMs, and production plans Drive continuous improvement projects Identify areas of risk to product quality, ensuring ISO standards are reached and documented Produce build schedules and production schedules Liaise and chase suppliers Assist in the in-house repair of production equipment Produce technical specifications Job Requirements
Experience with 3D & 2D CAD Knowledge of manufacturing processes Proven background within a Process or Manufacturing Engineering role Understanding of tools such as APQP, FMEA & PPAP Good understanding of GD&T principles Based within a commutable distance of Harlow Full UK Driving License Salary & Benefits
Salary 50-60K depending on experience Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week Health insurance 33 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays How to Apply:
