We are looking for an Engineer with experience as a Manufacturing or Production Engineer to join a company who are looking to roll out new and better ways of working. Your Role and Responsibilities: Reduce indirect hours by working with suppliers/subcontractors. Improve throughout by introducing improved processes, value engineering redesign of components where necessary to improve assembly times (CAD). Introduce 5S and lean where applicable. Work with Design teams to help them understand DFM and Industrialisation better. To succeed, you will need: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Relevant engineering qualification. Ability to use 3D CAD. Lean knowledge. SAP or similar ERP knowledge. Self-motivated. The company is part of a larger group and the test bed for this position, if proven successful, it will lead to a wider role within the group.
