Monday to Friday A global manufacturer based in Manchester is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the business. The purpose for this role is to drive change to ensure that there are automated processes with the highest levels of productivity and efficiency. The business is going from strength to strength and is continuing to grow. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Manufacturing Engineer to make an impact at a business within an excellent industry. Role Description

Work with key internal stakeholders to build an automation strategy for the site. Work within a small team with a focus on manufacturing transformation. Support strategic projects to enhance the global manufacturing supply chain. Maintain effective collaboration with operational support teams. Collaborate with NPI to drive best practice manufacturing engineering. Develop and document business cases for investment projects; manage and execute projects to improve productivity and reduce costs once signed off. Comply with Health & Safety Procedures. Some global travel involved at this stage. Skills and Qualifications

LEAN/Agile training, Six Sigma Qualification. Understanding of manufacturing, inspection, and test technologies. Able to demonstrate experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of factory management systems, data management and integration, encompassing automation protocols, software, and network. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SAP. Company Information
