The Manufacturing Engineering team ensures, through the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, that all products are manufactured efficiently and consistently to meet their specifications and the business needs, according to current procedures and using the appropriate technology. Duties Maintain and support current products and manufacturing processes. Design, document, and implement processes and systems to facilitate the efficient manufacture of new and existing products. Ensure production equipment is available and operates correctly when needed. Support production training processes. Develop processes and gather data. Seek to provide continual improvements. Ensure all plant and equipment operate in accordance with required standards, liaising with contractors. Adhere to plant and equipment maintenance schedules. Respond to reduce line stop time. Maintain showroom conditions in the factory. Support the transfer to production of new products and implementation of product changes. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, regulatory approvals, quality standards, and similar. Experience Practical Engineering/Technical experience with a proven track record of maintenance delivery. HND in a relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent. A strong multi-skilled background (with an electrical/electronic bias) able to understand the root cause of equipment breakdowns and develop solutions. Ability to manage contractors, review risk assessments, and method statements. Understanding of site utilities and services. Experience working with Lean principles (for example, TPM and 5S). Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Shows a clear desire to achieve success and pride in their approach to work. Supports a culture of continuous improvement. Takes personal responsibility to ensure results are delivered. Good verbal and written communication skills, who proactively contributes to the team. Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines. Working Conditions 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. Job Types:
