We are delighted to be recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to work within our Manufacturing Operations Team, to assist with planning, seeking, implementing, and monitoring process efficiencies, set up and optimisation, and applying continuous improvement to our extrusion production processes, ensuring maximum productivity.
WHAT OUR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS DO:
Design, implement and review manufacturing / extrusion procedures and equipment Plan and test new systems Seek and implement process efficiencies Monitor processes and progress Plan and implement layouts to optimise production Collaborate with our Maintenance team to ensure efficient and cost effective production Ensure schedules are optimised to maximise production, and mitigate down time
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS:
The ability to work to targets and deadlines Able to prioritise issues and workload Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent time keeping and problem-solving skills In-depth knowledge of the Extrusion Manufacturing production and processes Knowledge of Extrusion equipment for installation and repairs A recognised qualification within Engineering
