What the role involves
- Maintain detailed assembly documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and installation drawings.
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects design intent provided by Mechanical, Electrical.
- Processing Engineering while remaining under Manufacturing control.
- Define subassembly build stages, sequence of operations, and factory layout.
- Collaborate with Engineering to validate technical feasibility of process changes.
- Managing Engineering Control Requests for Engineering design changes.
Skills and requirements
- A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in developing assembly process design, tooling development and production line set up.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and how these can be translated into manufacturing practices.
