What the role involves

• Maintain detailed assembly documentation, including work instructions, checklists, and installation drawings.
• Ensure documentation accurately reflects design intent provided by Mechanical, Electrical.
• Processing Engineering while remaining under Manufacturing control.
• Define subassembly build stages, sequence of operations, and factory layout.
• Collaborate with Engineering to validate technical feasibility of process changes.
• Managing Engineering Control Requests for Engineering design changes.

Skills and requirements

• A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in developing assembly process design, tooling development and production line set up.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and how these can be translated into manufacturing practices.
