Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a brilliant new opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager to join a leading global manufacturing business based near Stockport, Cheshire.
As Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure an efficient and effective operation. Salary & package: Up to £65,000 plus bonus, pension Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage schedule adherence of production Operations Monitor plan vs actual & report to Sales for future bids Manage resources so that all areas are fully manned where required Communicate and feedback any scheduling or quality issues Attend quality meeting and participate in NCR activities through RCCA Attend pre-production meetings to represent the production facility and ensure that any concerns or complications are highlighted Run daily production meetings on the shop floor Drive a culture of 5S workplace organisation, H&S & quality Lead and motivate teams of production workers, Team Leaders, and support staff Ensuring a safe working environment is critical Accountabilities and KPI’s:
Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Employee engagement and satisfactory training completion Cost savings from process improvements Timeliness of communication and collaboration between other departments Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be keen to speak with Production Manager’s with the following skills and experiences: Significant exposure to Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement methodologies Production / Shift Management experience within a CNC Machining environment would be ideal Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis Proven track record of effective team leadership, motivation, and development Apply now, or for a confidential discussion, please contact Ian Bruce at Elevation Recruitment Group.
