Manufacturing Manager

to lead and manage our clients site operations in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is results-driven, with a proven ability to manage operational activities while achieving business goals and targets. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Profit & Loss performance, ensuring operational and customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the site to ensure business targets are met, with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Take full accountability for P&L performance, ensuring the site operates efficiently and effectively. Develop, mentor, and lead a motivated team, fostering a positive and flexible working environment. Oversee compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, ensuring best practices are adhered to. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending changes in training, processes, and working practices. Establish and maintain standard procedures for operational activities while promoting best practices across the site. Ensure KPIs are met by consistently monitoring and driving productivity improvements. Collaborate with internal teams on manufacturing and procurement/supply chain requirements to optimise performance. Required Experience & Skills: Strong experience managing Profit & Loss responsibilities in a manufacturing setting. Proven track record of improving productivity through effective KPI management. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, including procurement and supply chain. Knowledge of IOSH standards and practices for health, safety, and environmental compliance. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to analyse data, assess performance, and make informed decisions. High attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards across all operations. Perseverance, ambition, and a desire to continuously develop within a dynamic work environment. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and motivate teams. Decisive, confident, and able to influence others to achieve business objectives.
