Job Role - Manufacturing Engineer - Industrialisation Process Engineer ASAP Start Duration - 2 Years Inside IR35 Location - Worcester, Materials Solutions WR4 0AD 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Friday Job Description As part of the operations team at Materials Solutions, Worcester, the Industrialisation Process Engineer role will have responsibility for supporting the production process with a focus on process development and improvement. How you'll make an impact: Responsibility for executing development programs Define, plan, lead and execute R&D activities together with the technology development team Interface to Siemens Energy internal counterparts on R&D projects Status reporting to PM as well as MSL & SE management Drive the execution of new manufacturing processes and tools Ensure that quality requirements are met during AM process development to internal and customer requirements Spearhead the adoption and implementation of the latest AM best practices to ensure repeatable and reliable manufacture Troubleshoot problems and find innovative solutions Coordinate with other disciplines within Siemens Energy (AM), such as Sales, Operations, Quality and Design What you bring: University degree/Relevant Experience in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or similar) Basic understanding of Additive Manufacturing Processes and their optimisation, focusing on metals would be beneficial A keen interest to work with real life open-ended problem solving Strong communication skills with internal customers and external partners as well as an understanding of strategic technology planning and technology road-mapping Autonomous working and self-initiative, strategic thinking, organisational & coordination and results orientation Ability to work as an integral part of an agile, growing team Some knowledge of metallurgy and metal working would be an advantage Good computer competency with office suite tools, MRP systems, Minitab. Good communication skills and Stakeholder/ Project management skills Can work well to own initiative If available please submit CV and a member of the team will be in touch.
