A little bit about the role... Due to growth within British Offsite, we’re recruiting for an additional Manufacturing Team Leader to join our early shift (6am - 3pm), who will be responsible for managing Multi-Skilled Operatives to produce our Uni-System product, in line with customer programmes. We manufacture and assemble a range of products from vanity units to steel frame Building Panels. These products are supplied to the construction industry. Our workstations will involve various duties from window installation, assembly of components through to finishing aisles. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Responsible for leading a team of MSO’s to deliver the build/assembly of products to required standards in line with technical drawings/designs Lead the team to manufacture and assemble to time-critical production schedules Ensure thorough quality inspections and/or testing are conducted as required at relevant work stations before products are ready for dispatch Effective monitoring, organisation and/or communication of stock levels Effective and timely liaison with other departments to ensure smooth running of shift Responsible for the safe operation and working practice of the shift; operating a wide range of instruments and tools provided Provide timely updates and reports on works, issues, and progress Effective motivation and supervision of all direct reports Support and assist in any other production activities on other work areas/stations Effective management of instruments and tools maintenance, certification, and repairs Upkeep and tidiness of production and all work areas Adherence to the Company RAMS Effective management of direct reports including timely execution of probationary reviews, PDR’s, and 1 to 1’s What we'd like in return...
