Manufacturing Technician
Due to an internal promotion, our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth.
This is a full-time permanent position, completing the below shift pattern:
Shift Pattern:
Week one: * Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm * Friday 6am to 1pm Week two: * Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm * Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pm Minimum Requirements:
Experience as a Manufacturing Operator. Experience of working in a busy production/manufacturing environment. Good numerical, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience of working within a regulated manufacturing/production environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, food production) and associated documentation. Competent computer user. Key Responsibilities:
Work efficiently and effectively to work schedules based on manufacturing plans. Follow complex written and verbal instructions. Ensure starting materials, components, cleaning materials, and consumable parts are available. Make entries onto the inventory system (IFS) on a timely basis. Ensure good housekeeping and GMP standards in all areas. Take an active part in daily manufacturing meetings on the factory floor. Maintain a safe working environment by working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures. Be responsible for site Health & Safety, fire evacuation, and first aid in the absence of the Manufacturing Shift Leader. As the Manufacturing Technician, you will ideally have previous experience leading a small team (in the absence of the Manufacturing Shift Leader) and previous experience with training others. Applicants must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, being self-motivated with a proactive 'can do' approach and flexibility. It is important that the successful candidate is punctual and hardworking. Benefits:
