Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our client's Manufacturing team. The Manufacturing Operator will be responsible for the production of bulk pharmaceutical products, including liquids, creams, and lotions, in a GMP-compliant clean environment. This role involves following strict processes, maintaining high standards, and recording activities accurately using GMP and inventory control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Execute work schedules efficiently and effectively based on manufacturing plans. Follow complex written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate product manufacturing. Ensure the availability of starting materials, components, cleaning materials, and consumable parts. Accurately input data into the inventory control system (IFS) in a timely manner. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and GMP compliance in all manufacturing areas. Actively participate in daily manufacturing meetings on the factory floor. Ensure a safe working environment by following Health & Safety procedures. Take responsibility for site safety, fire evacuation, and first aid in the absence of the Manufacturing Shift Leader.

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Operator in a production environment. Experience working in a busy production or manufacturing setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Self-motivated with a proactive, flexible, and 'can-do' attitude. Strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience in a regulated manufacturing/production environment (e.g., pharmaceutical or food production), including handling associated documentation. Competent computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. Punctual, reliable, and hardworking.

Desirable Attributes

Experience in leading a small team in the absence of a supervisor or shift leader. Previous experience in training and mentoring team members.
