Your responsibilities as a marine crewing officer: Liaise with Crewing Agencies for the selection and provision of qualified seafarers Confirm with Flag state Authority that the Certificates of Competency for all Marine personnel are authentic prior to appointment to Company Operated ships Ensure that all Marine personnel professional certificates are current including Flag State medicals Schedule Crew rotas including travel arrangements to/from vessel Ensure that crew welfare arrangements on company operated ships comply with the standards identified in the relevant Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006) standards Arrange for revalidation of all Flag State CoC / CeC prior to expiry Liaise with Vessel Superintendents on any additional personnel who may be required to join/visit Company Operated ships for repair, MLC, Flag or Class Inspection etc Maintain a working knowledge and be fully conversant with the principles identified in the Gardline Safety Management System We offer

Your qualities: You can move ahead as a marine crewing officer if you have: Previous experience working in a shipping and or marine crewing role Diploma in Crew Management (Desirable) Have right to work in the UK without restrictions and based in the local Great Yarmouth (UK) area Previous Administration experience including excellent organisational skills High level of IT literacy, including Office, Microsoft Teams and Outlook Strong communication skills, both in person and written Be able to work as part of a team and perform well under pressure A good command of written and spoken English About Boskalis

How you can make your mark Make your mark as a Marine Crewing Officer with Gardline! We are currently looking to recruit a marine crewing officer to join our established team. This position is a permanent full-time role within the marine crewing team based in our Great Yarmouth office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing our international team of marine crew who work onboard our fleet of Company owned and third-party vessels to ensure that all company operated ships are adequately manned as identified on the safe manning document. The position of Marine crewing officer is a full-time, permanent role, 37.5 hours per week. Following successful completion of probation period there is an opportunity to work from home 2 days per working week. Procedure:
