Proven track record in a team leadership role Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation Ability to give technical input into specifications and estimating Excellent diagnostic skills with the ability to work to exacting standards In depth knowledge of marine electrical DC and AC systems Self-starter, motivated, reliable, good eye for detail, and proven track record in electrical and electronics and team leadership. Experienced in marine electronic installations, fault diagnostics and service support of market leading electronics including: Garmin B&G Simrad Victron Digital switching systems e.g. C-Zone, EmpirBus Main Duties and responsibilities
Lead a team of marine electricians and apprentices and provide technical support A wide range of electronic and electrical installations, repairs and upgrades A wide range of instrument and wiring upgrades Fault diagnosis on a range of engine electronic management systems, navigation systems and battery monitoring systems Commissioning, dock side trials, sea trials and collection & delivery trips Able to work on own initiative to provide off-site support to commercial customers Working in a team with other trade foremen to produce a quality product to budget and on time Pay and conditions
