The Role: As a Fleet Electrical Engineer, you'll ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of a modern fleet of vessels. From proactive maintenance to troubleshooting, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping operations running smoothly. This role also offers opportunities for hands-on work at shipbuilders' yards and vessel visits across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair marine electrical and electronic systems, including power generation, switchboards, and fire detection systems. Perform fault-finding, insulation surveys, and condition checks across the fleet. Plan and schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Build and maintain a comprehensive database of vessel-specific electrical information. Travel across the UK and Europe for inspections, dockings, and emergency support.About You:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Marine Electrical Engineering or similar. 3-4 years' experience as a ship electrician or in shore-based marine electrical engineering. STCW qualifications and experience with OS-HSC CTV/craft vessels. Flexibility to travel and provide on-call support as required.What We Offer:
