required for my client based near to Maidenhead, Berkshire. The marine engineering company are looking for a marine engineer with river mechanic experience, to perform mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance to boats, engines and associated equipment, on and off site. Reporting to the Marine Engineer - Supervisor. Marine Engineer Position Overview

Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to boats, engines and associated equipment. Order replacement parts, consult and review schematics. Determine causes of operating problems. Service and repair marine engines and associated mechanical equipment in customers' boats. Service and repair industrial engines. Perform service and repair of on-board auxiliary systems. Pressure wash & clean hulls and topsides of customers' boats. Assist with the craning of boats into and out of the water. Maintain familiarity with current product lines and features. Marine Engineer Position Requirements

Previous mechanical engineering experience essential. Previous marine experience is an advantage. Previous river mechanics experience. Based within a commutable distance of Maidenhead, Berkshire. Full UK driving licence essential. Volvo Penta approval is very beneficial. Marine Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary - £32,000 to £36,000 - dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Holiday package - 20 days plus bank holidays. Company pension scheme. Other company benefits. Bennett & Game Recruitment
