Marine Engineer (Yacht Maintenance) £35,000 - £40,000 + Work Abroad + Van + Training + Progression + Monday to Friday + Company Benefits Location: Poole Are you a Marine Engineer seeking a new and exciting role with a prestigious and reputable company? They are offering the chance to work abroad, with most of their projects based along the Mediterranean Sea. This specialist company, renowned for their ongoing care of high-performance boats such as offshore race boats, offers a range of mechanical, engineering, and repair services. They are now looking for a Marine Engineer to support the continued growth of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs on a variety of vessels and watercraft, both for clients and for resale. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as the flexibility to travel outside the UK across Europe, including locations such as the south coast of France and Geneva. Travel durations can vary, typically ranging from two to three weeks at a time. This role would be ideal for a Marine Engineer or someone with a similar background, looking to work on large bespoke projects and have the opportunity to travel and work across Europe. The Role: Outboard and inboard engine maintenance Varied work on leisure boats from small RIBs and auxiliary engines to large sailing and motor yachts Installation, service, repairs, and fault finding on electrical and plumbing works Installation of a range of mechanical and domestic equipment on new and used boats Diagnostics and troubleshooting Monday to Friday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) The Person: Marine Engineering background Willingness to work abroad and remotely for up to two weeks at a time Full Driving License If you are interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
