Due to a peak in workload/projects, a team of Marine Fitters are required for a short term project starting on 27th January.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking mechanical fitting tasks on marine vessels Carrying out maintenance and repair work on various ship components Assisting with the build and assembly of new marine vessels Collaborating with a team of marine engineers and technicians Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within set time frames Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Providing support for weekend work when necessary

Job Requirements:

Experience in mechanical fitting within the marine sector Background in ship repair and/or shipbuilding Strong understanding of marine engineering principles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Flexibility to undertake weekend work when required Good communication skills

You will be working Monday - Friday as standard with possible weekends during the contract. The contract is short term, approx. 3 weeks. Rate will depend on location and can be discussed at application stage.
