To play a critical role in supporting our clients by ensuring projects are scoped correctly, costed effectively, and delivered to the highest standards. To possess and apply strong technical knowledge of marine systems and materials, along with a proven ability to assess vessels and provide accurate cost estimates. Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed surveys of vessels, including inspections of interiors, equipment, and materials. Assess the condition and compliance of marine flooring, insulation, upholstery, and related components. Prepare precise and comprehensive cost estimates for repairs, refurbishments, and procurement projects. Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and deliverables. Provide technical advice and recommendations on materials and installation methods. Ensure all work aligns with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Prepare and present detailed survey reports, including photographic evidence and technical documentation. Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines. Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Marine Surveyor or Estimator in the marine sector, preferably in ship repair or refurbishment. Strong understanding of marine materials, including flooring, upholstery, insulation, and engineering components. Knowledge of maritime SOLAS regulations and safety standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimating and reporting. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites as required. Other Qualities & Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not essential). Marine accredited certifications or memberships are advantageous. Security Clearance (preferred but not essential).
