Marine Technician (013jc) – Helensburgh – up to £32k + Benefits My client, who has an over 60-year pedigree in small fast boats, is now seeking to recruit a marine technician to join their small team based in Helensburgh. Your role will be to support a fleet of small commercial craft based in the Helensburgh area. The focus of the role is to provide our client with a high level of availability of the craft through scheduled maintenance and defect repair. The ideal candidate would have experience in small craft inboard propulsion systems, fuel and hydraulic systems, together with a working understanding of small craft electrical and electronics systems. However, candidates with any relevant technical experience would be considered as training for this particular role can be provided. The successful candidates should be physically fit, highly motivated, have good organisational skills, and be capable of working remotely without supervision. Due to the nature and location of the role, you must have or have the ability to gain SC clearance. A competitive remuneration package is offered, and depending on your skills level, can be as low as £22k with no experience. However, a full training package will be on offer, up to £32k for a skilled operation. They also offer a company pension scheme as well as sick pay. A company van is also provided for travel to and from the work site. Your working week will be Mon – Fri.
