Implement together with the different stakeholders the EMEA Tunneling & Mining vertical Market strategy in your area and support the countries by implementing and roll-out and roadmap in the different areas / countries.
Sales Support: assist in increasing sales through project acquisition and relationship building with new and existing customers, positioning Sika as a reliable partner in the tunnelling and Mining sector.
Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support for T&M products, including accelerators, admixtures, fibers, TBM, and injections. This includes field applications, troubleshooting, and solution finding.
Training and Marketing: Conduct training sessions for Sika staff and customers, prepare standard presentations on T&M processes and technologies, and provide input on marketing actions to promote T&M products and strategies.
He/she acts as regional counterpart for Global Tunnelling & Mining team and actively participates in coordination with Corporate level.
Your expertise - Our strength
Bachelor or master’s degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar education with extensive underground experience with TBM processes, including all related products and technologies, particularly in injections. Understanding of mechanized tunneling and ability to meet customer needs. Proven experience in executing complex projects as part of a matrix organization and working with multi-cultural, remote teams. Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to motivate and engage others. Flexible for global travels in the area (approx. 50% of the working time). About Sika
