ROLE OVERVIEW As the Customer and Market Researcher at GRIDSERVE, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and success. Your responsibilities will encompass understanding customer needs, analysing market trends, and providing insights that inform strategic decisions. By leading research initiatives, you will ensure that the organisation remains agile and customer-centric, making customer first data-driven choices that result in enhanced products, services, and customer satisfaction. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Insights:

Working with 3rd parties, conduct in-depth primary and secondary research to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviours, preferences, and needs. Utilise a variety of research methods, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather relevant data. Customer Surveys:

Develop and implement customer surveys to gather feedback and measure satisfaction. Use survey data to identify areas for improvement and track progress over time. Customer Experience Monitoring : Execute comprehensive evaluations of customer experiences across all major touchpoints. Offer valuable insights to the business, highlighting both top-performing and underperforming experiences. Collaborate to drive innovation and continuously enhance the overall customer experience based on research findings. Market Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Perform market research to identify opportunities for growth and potential threats to the business. Product Research:

support the development of new products through research insights and analysis. Competitive Analysis:

Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape, identifying strengths and weaknesses relative to industry competitors. Provide insights that inform strategic positioning and differentiation. Data Collection and Analysis:

Collect, manage, and analyse data related to customer and market research. Translate data into actionable insights that guide decision-making. Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate research findings into strategic planning and decision-making processes. Provide recommendations for improving products, services, and customer experiences. Report Generation and Business Communication : Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate research findings to stakeholders. Own and manage the customer research hub to share research findings with the wider business. Summarise key insights, trends, and opportunities in a clear and concise manner. Required Experience Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Market Research, Business, or Social Sciences. Proven experience in customer and market research, including the use of various research methods and tools. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights. Proficiency in data analysis software and reporting tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey research findings to various stakeholders. Leadership and team management experience.
