The Role: As Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a marketing plan that aligns with the agency’s business goals, driving new business, increasing existing customer value, and customer retention. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing a high-performing business development team, ensuring they consistently meet and exceed sales and customer experience objectives. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, engage, and motivate a high-performance business development team, setting clear goals and expectations while supporting their ongoing professional development. Sales Pipeline & Business Growth:

Oversee and manage the agency pipeline, collaborating with the sales team to ensure strong customer touchpoints and a healthy pipeline that drives new business opportunities. Marketing Strategy Leadership:

Lead the development of a SMART marketing strategy that is closely aligned with the agency's objectives, ensuring financial targets and business goals are met. Social Media & Digital Marketing Excellence:

Develop and execute an innovative social media strategy across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, enhancing the agency's digital footprint and engagement. Creative Brand Promotion:

Identify and manage key print advertising opportunities with relevant publications, ensuring effective design and placement to boost brand awareness. Customer Engagement & PR Strategy:

Lead PR initiatives, fostering relationships with media outlets and community partners to promote corporate social responsibility (CSR), sponsorships, and other key external initiatives. Compliance & Best Practices:

Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Skills and Requirements: Previous experience in a marketing role within Financial Services is essential. Previous experience in leading teams, with strong people management and development skills is essential. Own transport & full UK driving licence is essential. Knowledge or personal connection to the Farming or Agriculture sector is desired. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
