Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a Global Development organisation in their search for a Marketing and Communications Manager, joining an exciting and vibrant organisation to lead the communications and marketing function. This is a full-time, permanent role based in London (hybrid).
Working closely with the CEO and the fundraising team, the new Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the communications and marketing function and strategy, ensuring it aligns with the fundraising strategy. The postholder will manage Action Syria's annual communication plan and calendar, taking the lead on all day-to-day communications, content creation, and social media tasks, ensuring that the messaging is impactful and consistent across all platforms. The Marketing and Communications Manager will also develop brand guidelines and build effective relationships with media to enhance the organisation's presence.
To be successful, you will have experience in strategic communications and marketing, including the development of marketing plans. You will have demonstrable experience in generalist marketing and communications, including digital, written, and storytelling. You will have experience in social media management, with knowledge of design tools. You will be a positive, proactive candidate with excellent communication skills to build relationships internally and externally. Although not a necessity, experience in the charity sector and an understanding of charity fundraising would be desirable.
