to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and sales plan across all aspects of Southampton Sport. Role Overview: As the

Marketing and Sales Coordinator , you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic marketing and sales plan that spans the full range of services offered by Southampton Sport. This includes targeting key audiences such as students, staff, alumni, and the community. You will work closely with various departments within Southampton Sport, including fitness, watersports, and customer excellence team. In addition, you will collaborate with the University’s student communications team, the Students’ Union, and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include taking ownership of key campaigns, coordinating activities such as outreach and in-reach events, open days, and other promotional events. You will promote Southampton Sport across various channels, including social media, advertising, publications, and our website. Additionally, you will conduct detailed analysis of specialised data to identify areas for growth and improvement within the business. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy for Southampton Sport across all target audiences, including students, staff, alumni, and the general community. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to deliver a unified marketing approach. Take ownership of campaigns, including planning and coordinating events such as outreach initiatives, open days, and promotional activities. Promote Southampton Sport via social media platforms, advertising, publications, and the website. Analyse specialised data to highlight key areas for growth, providing insights and recommendations for business improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with academic stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of marketing plans. Manage and monitor our internal systems to ensure their efficient operation and seamless functionality. About You: We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in planning and implementing marketing operations across multiple departments. Your ability to analyse data and translate insights into creative, actionable marketing strategies will be key to your success in this role. You should be adept at building relationships and working collaboratively with both academic stakeholders and a range of internal and external teams. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing marketing and sales plans. Strong ability to analyse data and develop insights to guide marketing strategy. Experience in coordinating marketing activities across various departments and audiences. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
