We have seven depots throughout East Anglia and an Industrial sales office based at our Sawston branch.

About the Role In the new role as Marketing Assistant you will be working directly with the Marketing Director. The role can be extremely varied and you will need to enjoy all areas of marketing. Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Develop and execute social media campaigns to boost brand awareness, engagement, and followers. Stay ahead of social media trends and leverage user engagement data to refine our content strategy. Set up and manage marketing campaigns to promote our latest product lines. Updating all company website with relevant blog posts and relevant news. Developing our customer base via numerous marketing channels, including data lists, social media interaction etc. Creating artwork for posters, flyers, social media and the website. Working on monthly email campaigns using Campaign Monitor. Supporting and working on events throughout the year including a charity golf day and supplier roadshow and charity events. Assist in organising and managing marketing files. Support in ad hoc marketing tasks as required. Updating the company catalogue on Adobe Illustrator.
About you We would love to hear from candidates who are keen to join a small marketing team and are: Ability to prioritise their workload alongside the Manager. A team player but also has the initiative to work on your own. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail being key due to the nature of Marketing. Eager to learn and develop their skills. Good knowledge of Canva or similar. Basic Photoshop skills, InDesign and Illustrator knowledge is a bonus. WordPress experience would be preferred. Managing social media accounts. Good time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines. Full driving licence with the ability to visit each of our seven sites throughout the year to build a relationship with the sales teams. A natural creative thinker with a keen eye for design and content aesthetics.
The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop their skills and bring new ideas to the team. The willingness to be flexible with daily tasks and the ability to prioritise are key to this role's success. The ideal candidate must hit the ground running with the desired attributes to become a valued member of our marketing team.
