What’s the role and who are we looking for? This role sits within the Marketing Operations team, which iscomprised of six people, as part of a wider 40-strong Marketing and Business Development department and it will report into the CRM Manager. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about marketing automation and who has the experience to manage our Marketo environment including building templates, managing workspaces and designing nurture programmes while supporting the Marketing Campaigns team in their efforts to roll out a successful marketing campaign.We’re looking for aprocess innovator that brings, and is willing to drive, new ideas, processes and support our drive for efficiency across the Business Development team and great data usage across the firm. Key Responsibilities As the Marketing Automation (Marketo) Executive you’d be responsible for driving the success of the marketing automation (currently Marketo) at LCP, supporting the implementation, adoption, success, support and ongoing use of Marketo. Your particular focus will be to; Ensure thatall of our Marketo workspaces / templates / integrations meet the requirements of the team, working with agency support where necessary Work with the wider marketing team to design the email marketing strategy and continually evaluating and reviewing to ensure we are creating effective and engaging emails to our audiences Oversee our email deliverability rates and aim for continuous improvement of this, both through a successful email sending and segmentation strategy, and working with IT where necessary Be responsible for execution, including segmentation, testing and deployment of the email marketing strategy Be responsible for day to day running of the system including (but not limited to) creating and managing forms (including the preference centre), landing pages andnuture programmes Monitor live automation journeys and make recommendations for how to adapt and optimise them Support the CRM manager to integrate Marketo with the CRM (MS D365) andassist in the integration ofadditional platforms into Marketo Support LCP Delta’s marketing automation tool (ClickDimensions) on an ad-hoc basis, working with their agency as needed Support and develop lead generation and management initiatives in Marketo such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing to help us toidentify andallocate new business leads Understand and evaluate campaign metrics, develop benchmarks, and support the reporting of campaign performance Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards Work closely with the Marketing Operations team to ensure Marketo bugs and troubleshooting are logged,processed and assigned correctly Support Marketo users on day-to-day queries (first point of escalation) Establish close working relationships with the core Marketing Operations team and the wider Business Development team What skills, qualities and experience are we looking for? Demonstrable experience in a Marketo focussed role, preferably within B2B professional or financial services Good project management skills – prioritising,planning and organising workload Excellent analytical and data skills Able to communicate technical information tonon technical people Good at working on simultaneous projects, while working to tight deadlines and being calm under pressure Ability to train individuals A good understanding of GDPR, Digital Privacy regulations and marketing automation best practice Microsoft Office suite (including Microsoft Teams) PowerBI desired but not essential Microsoft Visio desired but not essential Experience of wider Marketing Technology (CRM, Online event platforms etc.) desired but notessential What’s in it for you?
