Marketing & Communications Coordinator Hours of work: 30 hours per week Salary: £24,719.99 pro rata, £20,043 (actual) Term: Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend Responsible to: Head of Marketing, Engagement and Audience Place of work: The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle Closing Date: 12:00 midnight, Sunday 15 December, 2024 As The Bowes Museum enters an exciting period of change, investment, and transformation, we are looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team at one of the North’s foremost museums. This is a role in which you can make a big difference. You’ll collaborate proactively with teams across the Museum drawing on a rich programme of exhibitions, events, world-class collections, and superb outdoor spaces at an extraordinary venue – this is an opportunity not to be missed. You will play a pivotal role in the engagement of all audiences including existing members and supporters as well as reaching new audiences regionally, nationally, and internationally. Through your enthusiasm and experience of planning and delivering creative campaigns, you will lead on delivering both marketing and PR/media elements while helping deliver the Bowes’ exciting new vision as a future-thinking museum of artists, designers, and makers.
