Marketing Director – FTC

The Marketing Team at DS Smith plays a pivotal role in creating brand awareness, driving profit and growth, acquiring, and retaining customers and enhancing our engagement. We have a fabulous opportunity at DS Smith for a talented, self-directed, and high energy individual to join the Recycling & Paper teams as our Marketing Director. This is a fantastic role for the right candidate with a real opportunity to drive our marketing agenda forward in a dynamic and fast paced business. This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is a crucial part of the Marketing team, as you will be leading the deployment of our value proposition strategy across Europe, and the implementation of key initiatives to ensure business and brand metrics are achieved. This role will be liaising with teams in our Packaging Division, other Marketing teams as well as the Senior Leadership Teams and therefore, someone with excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of the organisation with the ability to influence and enthuse would be perfect to deliver a strong, coordinated marketing plan. The successful candidate would be managing a high performing Paper & Recycling marketing team, inspiring, and mentoring to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. About you Relevant experience working in a similar role, in a FMCG/Retail environment – essential Degree or equivalent in related field (Comms/Marketing/Journalism) – desirable but not essential Experience in scoping and delivering strategic projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence Passionate storyteller & Content creator Able to work independently while maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues around the business Pragmatic, detail-orientated & delivery focused Adaptable mindset to manage reactive issues as well as planned activities Confident, highly motivated and results orientated Location:
