DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: PURPOSE:
To manage the day-to-day marketing activities of the organisation both online and offline along with the long-term marketing strategy of the company.
Assist with the development of the marketing function across all channels, making recommendations for improving processes and results. Take appropriate action to eliminate/minimise company exposure (financial and/or reputation) in any situation. Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C. Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge. Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department, detailing the year's activity to meet agreed company objectives. Budget management to deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget. Assist with all aspects of print production, receipt, and distribution. Achieve frequent, timely, and positive media coverage across all available media. Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Manage online campaigns to raise brand awareness. Improve the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website. HTML animation and email design. CMS day-to-day management. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Travel industry marketing experience is desirable but not essential. Ideally educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant industry experience. Strong analytical and project management skills. Good awareness of the Tour Operating environment and the travel industry in general. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills. Strong creative outlook. Confident and dynamic personality. Experience managing PPC, SEO, and Affiliate programmes. Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice. Experience in e-commerce SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media. Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
THE PACKAGE: THIS IS A FULLY OFFICE BASED ROLE
They will pay a competitive salary of £30k-£34k dependent on experience. They also offer other benefits including discounted travel and company pension.
