Job Description

What we’re looking for Smarter Shows is a division of Informa Markets – Engineering, with a regional head office in Brighton, UK. The Smarter Shows portfolio includes a number of market-leading advanced manufacturing expo events, located primarily in North America and Germany. Smarter Shows are seeking a motivated Marketing Executive to work within the marketing team (within Smarter Shows). The Marketing Executive’s primary role is to help execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, using pre-existing multi-channel tactical plans, across an entire portfolio of brands - this includes all products and services delivered by each of these brands (face-to-face including expo, and digital). They’ll be target driven, well organised, and comfortable managing a large number of tasks and projects at any one time. They will be technically proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.), and familiar with the full suite of digital marketing channels leveraged on a typical Smarter Shows audience acquisition/audience engagement/lead-gen marketing campaign, including email, social, search, and display. Attention to detail is a key part of this role to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timeliness. Marketing execution is a core part of this role. Working from detailed tactical plans (created in cooperation with Senior Marketing Managers/Marketing Managers or from their own workings), the Marketing Executive will be expected to directly execute multi-channel marketing campaign deliverables, either directly or via channel-specific outsourced suppliers (with support from a senior colleague as required). They will also be expected to plan and deliver simple (smaller, typically single channel) end-to-end marketing campaigns. A Smarter Shows Marketing Executive will be ambitious for the portfolio of brands they’re asked to work on (and each of the products and services delivered by each of those brands), hard-working, with a creative approach to problem solving. Qualifications

3+ years of campaign marketing experience (preferably B2B) Experience of working within a professional/office environment (preferably for a commercial organisation) Knowledge of email marketing platforms and techniques Events sector experience/business media sector experience Digital marketing knowledge and experience Additional Information
