If so, we have an exciting role for you We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Maidstone office, covering our Kent/Gatwick region. You will be responsible for the delivery of marketing initiatives and campaigns across the Southern region and provide general all-round marketing and administrative support for the Regional Head of Marketing. This job is ideal for someone earlier on in their marketing career, with 1 - 2 years’ experience, that wants to build on their skills across the full marketing mix, including online and offline events, social media, PR, copywriting and advertising, as well as prospect and competitor research. The person we are looking for needs to have a ‘can do’ attitude, be super organised, highly motivated, resourceful and career orientated. Responsibilities Marketing Co-ordinate and develop effective marketing campaigns to support regional brand awareness and business development objectives, utilising the full marketing mix as appropriate. Take on, develop and support non-core sector / service lines to support smaller, but profitable areas of the business. Research and maintain calendar of external events and networking opportunities, promoting them internally to the relevant team members to encourage attendance and regional engagement. Maintain the regional marketing pages of the intranet to ensure they are always up to date and support internal communication objectives Provide support to deliver national and sector campaigns regionally Support social media activity Undertake competitor research and report on findings Events Assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of both online and ‘in-person’ marketing events, to include producing invites, confirming speakers, organising room bookings, catering and co-ordinating travel arrangements if necessary. Manage event registrations, attendee research and assist with post event follow-up. Provide support for ‘in person’ events, attending where needed to manage the set up, ‘meet and greet’ and assist with the smooth running of the event. Design & Collateral Design and edit marketing materials, including e-shots, PowerPoint presentations, adverts and banners to a high standard, ensuring full compliance with brand guidelines Ensure collateral is kept up to date and easily accessible Provide marketing support for regional staff events and charitable activities to ensure good social media coverage and engagement Targeting & Data Undertake prospect research and data analysis Provide proposal support to both the national business development team and regional partners where necessary and get proposal feedback from Partners. Support with the management of our client and prospect database, improving accuracy, completeness and help to keep it up to date Data entry and updates to the firm’s database and lead tracking process General Admin & reporting Maintain and develop regional marketing activity reports that analyses the performance and impact of the activity we are undertaking and effectively showcases our work Support with the production of our regular reports including client gains, losses and fees analysis Reconcile invoices related to marketing spend, getting approval for payment, while maintaining accurate records of marketing spend to assist in budget tracking. General support with organising meetings and taking minutes where needed Qualifications Ideally 1 to 2 years hands on marketing experience Excellent IT skills: Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential Experience and an aptitude for design Excellent communication skills essential (written and verbal) Excellent organisation and planning skills essential Ability to work quickly and on multiple jobs at the same time essential Confident in dealing with people Willingness to travel Excellent attention to detail. Able to manage and work effectively in a fast paced and busy environment. Team player.
