The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Marketing and Communications team as a

Marketing Executive - Web and Digital

for a one-year Fixed Term Contract. This dynamic role is at the heart of enhancing our web and intranet platforms, creating engaging digital content, and driving impactful marketing campaigns.

About the role:

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to assist with managing the RVC’s web and intranet platforms, creating digital content, overseeing campaigns, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. The role involves managing tools like Google Ads, MS SharePoint, and CRM (MS Dynamics), while providing training, analytics insights, and ensuring platforms are accessible, engaging, and compliant.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this role is a versatile and proactive digital marketing professional with a strong background in web strategy, content production, and data-driven decision-making. They should have expertise in supporting the development and implementation of website and intranet strategies, collaborating with colleagues to design and build engaging web sections, landing pages, and digital campaigns aligned with organisational objectives. A creative eye and technical proficiency are essential for producing high-quality digital content, including video, photography, animations, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

The candidate must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as they will work closely with students, staff, and external agencies to create compelling content that promotes courses, hospitals, and research. They need to demonstrate the ability to manage projects such as planning, filming, editing, and publishing video content while ensuring adherence to accessibility, legal requirements, and brand guidelines.

A detail-oriented and analytical mindset is critical, as the role involves maintaining Google Ads campaigns, monitoring website performance through SEO and SEM analytics, and delivering insightful reports to inform marketing decisions. Proficiency in CRM tools like MS Dynamics is also required to build data capture forms, create marketing journeys, and measure ROI effectively.

The candidate must excel at providing training and support to teams, acting as a point of contact for website content editors, and ensuring that all website information is accurate and up to date. They should be adaptable and willing to provide internal communications support when needed, displaying a collaborative and solution-focused approach to meeting organisational goals.
