About the role
As the
Marketing Governance Manager - Content Production , you will hold a senior position tasked with defining and implementing the governance and compliance strategy for Haleon's global marketing content production model (CaST - Creative at Scale Team).
Your leadership will be essential in driving a comprehensive governance program to achieve tangible improvements. The scope of your mission will include:
Legal and regulatory marketing compliance:
Collaborate with legal counsel, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure all marketing content adheres to applicable regulation, such as privacy and accessibility standards. Compliance with regulatory standards is required to safeguard our patient safety and maintain brand trust. KPI and Reporting Governance:
Design and oversee the KPIs and reporting programme for CaST, ensuring effective measurement of our internal performance, and controlling that our agency partners are meeting their performance objectives. Embedding DEI and Haleon's humanity values:
Oversee the incorporation of Haleon's values of trust and humanity into our content production, emphasizing diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability. Content Efficiencies and Effectiveness:
Collaborate with the agency and internal teams on identifying effectiveness opportunities, including KPIs such as cost savings, asset reuse, and adoption of globally produced assets as well as assessing innovations such as AI and Automation.
Key Responsibilities Define and implement a global governance strategy for Marketing content production global model. Drive the governance roadmap for Marketing Content Production, aiming to embed and streamline compliance related processes. Define clear requirements (Do and Don't), creating Policies, Standards, and guidelines to help navigate content production processes complexity. Develop and implement a Governance framework to measure overall performance, efficiency, and effectiveness. Identify KPIs and implement automated controls for scalable monitoring of performance and compliance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing content reflects Haleon's values and meets legal and regulatory standards. Act as the subject matter expert and thought leader for Responsible Marketing, including Compliance, DEI, and Sustainability topics. Work with the CaST global team and regional Marketing leaders to evangelize good practices and ensure a seamless integration of governance related processes. Advocate for efficiency and innovation in content production, while maintaining operational rigor.
Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, governance, or compliance, preferably within a global organization. Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in marketing content production, including privacy and accessibility. Strong strategic thinking and program management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives. Expertise in designing governance frameworks and implementing automated compliance controls. Data-driven mindset with experience in defining and tracking performance metrics (KPIs). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse, global teams. A passion for Responsible Marketing, particularly in advancing diversity, equity, and sustainability.
