This position may be based in UK, France or Germany. The Global Marketing Manager-Construction will be responsible for defining and implementing the global marketing strategies and initiatives for Construction. The Global Marketing Manager will identify and connect latest trends and needs in the Construction marketplace to our product portfolio offerings to deliver successful concepts, innovations and finished product applications to our customers. The candidate will also be responsible for identifying new market segments within the Construction industry segment to expand our portfolio. The candidate will be closely connected and understand the end-use customer company brands in these segments to further develop them using Group’s portfolio of products, services and application technologies delivering the ultimate customer needs and benefits in the marketplace. Success is measured by demonstrating profit and margin growth in segments of responsibility. An ability to connect science and Synthomer’s portfolio to the businesses, segments, brands, claims and benefits is also instrumental to achieve success in this role. Must be an adaptive leader and team player with ability to interface closely with the external market, customers, consultants, industry associations, and internal functions, such as the marketing team, product management, sales, manufacturing, new business development, customer service, sourcing, finance, technology and R&D. The successful candidate will be skilled at successfully working within a matrix environment. Skills Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field with 7+ years Construction Materials industry experience. Masters and PhD candidates are welcome to apply. Demonstrated team leadership experience especially with cross functional teams. Experience developing and implementing new strategies and initiatives. Strong Financial and Business Acumen skills. Experience with project management. Strong communications, team leadership, and customer focus skills. Must possess strong growth orientation. Must demonstrate strong analysis skills, and have experience using data to form conclusions/recommendations for action. Why Synthomer? We are ambitious!
