To understand trends, customers' needs and deliver effective and engaging marketing communication through Social Media, in line with business objectives and strategy. The primary objective is to drive awareness for Superdrug and acquire new customers through Social Media that results in an increased level of engagement and loyalty online. A typical day in this role includes: Leading and managing the social media strategy for Superdrug main social channels and local store pages including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat. Creating the content strategy for Superdrug main social channels in line with commercial and business objectives. Monitoring and reporting social media performance through various tools. Providing guidance to stores' social channels and producing bespoke content. Leading social marketing projects within the business. Conducting industry research and trend spotting. Managing social media competition strategy. Supporting all commercial categories across channels. Collaborating with the Own Brand & Exclusive team. Managing, reviewing, and challenging the performance of external agencies. Coordinating with Superdrug stakeholders. Working with suppliers on social media events. Line management of the Social Media Marketing Assistant, Executive, and Social Media Apprentice. Managing budget, costs, and income for all Social Media platforms. Exploring and building commerce capabilities within existing social media platforms. This job is a good fit for you if:

Significant experience in social media marketing within a fast-paced retail environment. A very good understanding of social media principles. Hands-on experience in a creative field with experience in content creation and management. Experience in understanding commercial goals and strategies. Good understanding of social media trends in health and wellbeing. Experience in managing a team. Experience in handling multiple projects. Strong analytical skills. Ability to influence at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills: written and verbal, including presentations. Confident and energetic.
