If you're capable of developing a marketing strategy but still want the excitement of running campaign execution as well then this role ticks both boxes and in a truly growing business. Two years ago this company had one venue and grand plans. By the end of next year they will have 8. That's equivalent to doubling in size every year and with that comes great opportunity, which is why they want this role developing to director level in the next 18 months too. As a business still in it's infancy they are looking to appoint a marketer who is experienced and capable enough to develop strategy but likewise need the individual to be hands on in delivery. There is a direct report who is strong both on creative and in social media and wider employees who can contribute as well, but you need to be independent, autonomous and proactive in your approach to work in this size of business. About You: Confident in developing and leading a commercially focused marketing strategy. Breadth of experience across online and print channels. Experience managing budgets across paid advertising on paid social, PPC or other advertising channels online or offline. Highly personable to quickly establish internal relationships and engage managers across the business with marketing and invested in the development of your own direct report. Commercially strong for regularly presenting reports, metrics and plans for marketing activity. What You'll Be Doing: Creating and leading marketing strategy covering social media, email, website management, print, events, PR and more. Identifying most suitable channels to drive awareness, engagement and leads. Continually communicating to existing customers and driving engagement, loyalty and retention. Co-ordinating across the business to understand where and how marketing can add additional value and support. Measuring, analysing and reporting on marketing campaigns, results and performance. Where You'll Be Based: With multiple offices there can be some flexibility in location in Yorkshire for the Marketing Manager but you'll ideally be predominantly based in Leeds City Centre for the majority of the week. This role is to be recruited in January 2025 although applications may be reviewed sooner. For an informal chat, please get in touch with Tom Fordham, I can be easily found on LinkedIn or through the MET Marketing website. Don't worry if your CV isn't up to date. Whilst we'll likely need that at some point I can always discuss informally ahead of you preparing a CV to suit.
