We are the National Street Tree Sponsorship Scheme . The programme provides local authorities with an innovative way to help fund street tree planting through resident and business sponsorship. Trees for Streets currently operates in partnership with 20 local authorities and has secured funds to plant and establish 4,000 street trees since it was established in 2021. The Trees for Streets project was co-founded by us and civic innovator Start with Local. From December 2024, Trees for Streets is transitioning to become fully incorporated as a programme within us. We’ve created this new position to support this transition and manage all aspects of marketing relating to the Trees for Streets programme from within the Marketing and Communications team. The Marketing Manager – Trees for Streets will manage all marketing activities for the Trees for Streets programme to deliver business objectives and tree sponsorship targets. We are an ambitious, far-reaching organisation. We are the only charity that focuses on planting, protecting and promoting urban trees across the UK and overseas. We are a rapidly growing and developing organisation that suits ambitious, dedicated and passionate staff. This is an exciting opportunity which requires a diverse skillset from an experienced, innovative and agile marketing professional who likes to get hands-on in their role. The right candidate will be an excellent copywriter, an organised project manager, a self-starter, will build and maintain effective professional relationships and be able to operate with autonomy. You’ll effectively be managing an in-house street tree marketing agency and thrive in this fast-paced environment. Your success will be measured by the delivery of street tree sponsorships against annual targets in our existing operating areas and the growth of the scheme into new localities. Whilst there are currently no direct reports, there is the potential for team growth in response to programme development. We arecommitted to the principles of equal opportunity. We value diversity and are committed to promoting diversity within the workplace. We aim to ensure that our employees achieve their full potential and that all employment decisions, including recruitment, are taken without reference to irrelevant or discriminatory criteria. A full copy of our Equal Opportunities Policy can be provided on request.
