Basic Salary £35,000-£40,000 dependant on experience with excellent benefits including pension, private healthcare and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Our client, a leading and reputable global trade association based in Cambridgeshire, established for over 80 years, is currently seeking to appoint a Marketing Manager on a hybrid basis – 2 days at their Cambridgeshire offices and 3 days at home.

The Role of Marketing Manager

To develop, implement and be responsible for the Association’s communications, marketing and associated activities. The Marketing Manager will play an essential role in implementing the marketing campaigns and delivering on key projects to drive member engagement and brand awareness. This position will focus on planning, executing, and analysing campaigns across multiple channels to ensure they align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in campaign management, budget tracking, and stakeholder coordination, with some knowledge of design tools like Canva to support content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Planning and Execution:

Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that support our goals and increase member engagement.

Collaborate with the Director of Membership to align campaigns with the overall marketing strategy.

Manage campaign calendars, coordinate across teams, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns across all channels.

Content and Creative Development:

Draft and edit copy for marketing materials, social media posts, emails, and other channels as needed.

Use basic design tools like Canva to create visuals and assets for digital and print campaigns, ensuring all content is on-brand.

Work with external suppliers when needed to produce high-quality marketing materials.

Budget Tracking:

Support the Director of Membership by tracking campaign expenditures, ensuring all activities are within the allocated budget.

Provide regular updates on budget performance and suggest optimizations for more cost-effective campaign delivery.

Digital and Social Media Management:

Contribute to the development and implementation of our social media content strategy to increase engagement and reach.

Monitor and report on social media performance, analysing metrics to improve engagement rates and campaign effectiveness.

Coordinate with internal teams to produce timely and relevant social media content that supports key campaigns.

Stakeholder and Supplier Coordination:

Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders and suppliers involved in campaigns, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery.

Manage relationships with external suppliers such as designers, printers, and digital agencies to meet project goals and deadlines.

Campaign Reporting and Optimization:

Analyse and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, including engagement metrics, ROI, and key insights.

Use data to make informed recommendations for future campaigns and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on campaign performance for the Director of Membership and senior management.
