This is a pivotal role to help support our 5-year business strategy by developing and implementing a UK and Ireland B2B marketing strategy. This includes both above-the-line and below-the-line and through a range of channels (in-person, postal, digital, social, press, etc.) Key Duties: Review, develop and implement our UK marketing strategy. Management of UK marketing budget and deployment thereof to deliver the marketing Objectives and Key Results, including data analysis on campaign efficacy and ROI. Lead our conference programme. Liaison with organisers of conferences and trade shows, contract negotiation, placing of Speakers, and papers. Attendance at conferences (approximately 6 UK per annum and 2 international). Supervision of the brand image, including supporting all staff with the consistent 'look and feel' of all stakeholder interfaces: Products & technologies - input on aesthetic design to align with brand image. Website refresh. Customer communications journey. Pro-actively manage and develop our social media presence, including LinkedIn and other platforms as may be appropriate. Implement and exploit CRM database of existing and potential key stakeholders, including targeted marketing campaigns. Maintenance and update of business literature, creation of new marketing literature. Liaison with industry press to create and place features, press releases and advertising. Develop a sound working knowledge of the company's technologies (training will be provided). Ideal candidates will: Have experience of UK Utilities sector, especially water and wastewater. Have demonstrable experience in leading B2B marketing campaigns. Be creative with a strong design aesthetic and an eye for good imagery. Experienced at copy writing and proof-reading with the ability to write engaging copy for a range of formats/channels, in particular e-newsletters, website, social media. Have experience of using CRM systems and mailshot systems. The role requires excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in a collaborative working environment and being organised and pro-active.
