The Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a creative, organised and passionate Marketing Officer to join our high performing team of marketing professionals in a fast-paced and fast-growing entertainment company.

This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a degree in marketing (or other relevant subject e.g. Communications, Journalism) who is looking to join a growing marketing department and develop their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Customer Relations to create and manage engaging and complex marketing campaigns for multiple entertainment centres offering a wide range of activities fit for all ages.

Key Responsibilities Support the Marketing team, the Head of Marketing and Customer Relations and the Airtastic and Funky Monkeys centres with the planning and implementation of all marketing campaigns through a wide range of tasks covering the full marketing and communication spectrum.

You will need to demonstrate initiative and acceptance of accountability; tracking and reporting on results will be crucial. You will also need to be very organised and thorough in your work, in order to complete multiple and diverse tasks, often under tight deadlines.

Some of your responsibilities are listed below, but your job will evolve in line with the projects we have, your own skills and willingness to progress.

Digital marketing:

Assist the digital marketing team with managing, growing and optimising various digital platforms, social media, e-mails, websites, search engines, etc.

Design, Printing and Production:

Create simple designs that are needed regularly, liaise with our design and production partners to produce various marketing materials and follow up with all parties involved to ensure the centres have the necessary support for their activity. Responsible for ordering printed marketing materials for the centres when required.

Operational/Admin:

Responsible for reporting, maintaining various databases, marketing research, data mining, etc., and creating valuable tools for the marketing team in day-to-day activities as well as for strategic decisions. Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met across multiple projects.

Liaising with Outside Partners:

Manage relationships with social media accounts, listing websites, influencers, media agents, etc., ensuring timely completion of all projects by following up on partnership terms and building out the network.

Content Marketing:

Plan, create and manage engaging content for websites, email & social media campaigns across all brands, with great graphics, photo, video and text.

Support You will be part of a professional dynamic and highly motivated team and supported in your activity by your direct manager and your colleagues. You will also be required to offer support within your scope to centre managers, company directors and your manager. You will have the opportunity to work with creative and specialised agencies to develop and run campaigns. Your activity will align with the brand identity and overall marketing strategy. You will receive training, attend regular marketing meetings and have continuous support and communication with your manager.

What You Need to Succeed To successfully perform in this role, you will need to be very organised, thorough, and accountable for your results. You will have to demonstrate the capacity to understand the business and its goals, integrating your activity with the specifics of the business. Teamwork and accountability are highly valued traits within our department and company.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline

3+ years of experience in a similar role

Experience in an office-based environment

Sound knowledge of the main digital marketing tools as well as MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Graphic design skills with experience using design programs such as Adobe Illustrator/InDesign or Canva

Video editing skills with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro/Rush or other video editing software

Fluent in English - excellent proof reading and copywriting skills

Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Capacity to work on your own initiative across complex projects without the need for supervision

The ability to work well under pressure

Ability to work well with our partners, including briefing and following up on all projects

Strong planning and organisational skills, being methodical and process-driven with strong attention to detail

"Can do” attitude, eager to learn and a desire to always do better

A passion for marketing, learning and the capacity to think outside the box

Being a reliable team player is very important in our work

Experience in managing Social Media channels, in content management, excellent copywriting skills and ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

Tech savvy

Some experience in hospitality or entertainment, either through part-time work or work experience would be advantageous

Full driver’s licence with access to own vehicle

Please note, this role is office based. Please do not apply if you live outside Northern Ireland or are unable to commute to Lisburn. Some occasional travel within NI and ROI, mainly to visit the centres may be required.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (with 30 min break). This role may involve some occasional evening or weekend work for special events and promotions throughout the year.
