The Marketing team also plays a key role in defining compelling value propositions, as well as executing promotional activity, in order to generate brand awareness and drive demand for Insight’s solutions and services. The Marketing Project Manager specialises in planning, managing and executing projects that advance marketing strategy and goals. They determine project scope, tasks, budget and resource requirements and manage the output of the team of marketers, vendors, and support staff involved in the project, ensuring the successful completion of marketing projects on time and within budget. Key responsibilities: Manage and coordinate projects that advance specific marketing strategies and goals. Responsible for the successful delivery of marketing projects through the entire project lifecycle, from project scope to scheduling and delivery. Assign tasks, set deadlines for team members, and determine the project’s budget and resource allocation requirements, making adjustments as required over the course of the project’s duration. Manage communication with stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring the team has the information and buy-in needed for project completion. Responsible for ensuring the marketing project process is efficiently executed from beginning to end with positive results. Accountable for anticipating consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change. Provide leadership and direction to project team members and stakeholders. Measure project performance, manage risk, and ensure the maintenance of comprehensive project documentation. Manage assigned internal and external resources to achieve project success. Responsible for achieving high stakeholder satisfaction through strong delivery management and communication with team members and stakeholders alike. Key skills and experience required: Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent work experience - Hold a recognised project management certification or working towards this. High level of written and spoken English - A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator. Experience or exposure to marketing efforts in a B2B organisation - Hold a relevant marketing qualification or working toward this. Demonstrable experience in managing successful projects across teams - Proven experience of delivering marketing projects to time, cost, and quality. Results orientated with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload, including coordinating with others to ensure project deadlines are met - Well-developed planning and organisational skills including scope and schedule management. Excellent communication and influencing skills - Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion. Ability to provide effective leadership, build positive team spirit and inspire, motivate and support teammates - A demonstrable record of establishing and maintaining a strong and effective performance culture. Experience of developing and implementing continuous improvement systems and of identifying and removing process inefficiencies.
